KNA All Stars
KNA All Stars – Our All Abilities Netball Program
The KNA All Stars is an inclusive netball program for people with intellectual disabilities, welcoming players of all abilities and experience levels.
Our focus is simple: Having fun, developing skills, building confidence, and enjoying everything that comes with being part of the KNA netball community.
Saturday Netball
The All Stars play on Saturday afternoons during the KNA winter season at Canoon Road, South Turramurra, usually from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
Players participate in small groups suited to their abilities and interests, with opportunities for skills coaching, supported games, friendly matches against KNA clubs, and participation in the regular KNA competition.
Beyond Saturday games, players can also enjoy social events, All Abilities carnivals and the opportunity to represent KNA at the Netball NSW State Challenge.
Celebrating 25 Years
In 2026, the All Stars proudly celebrated 25 years of inclusive netball.
The program began in 2001 through the efforts of Jane Reid and volunteer coaches Sue Gowans, Kerry Frost, and Ginny Barton, who believed everyone deserved the opportunity to enjoy netball.
Jane led the program for 12 years before handing over to Deb Frost in 2013. Rob Edgar became Head Coach and Coordinator in 2025.
Today, around 30 players enjoy the program each season, supported by dedicated volunteers, families, KNA clubs and the Association Executive.
Over 25 years, an estimated 200 players and more than 100 volunteers have been part of the AllStars story.
