National Badges
Saturday 5th May
Niki Osborn was awarded her National B badge on State League 8 on Saturday 5th June. Niki has been umpiring at St Ives for over 5 years, and decided this season to work towards her National B. She took on training games and State League games and worked really hard towards her badge. Niki is also a great coach - she spends Saturdays at Canoon coaching junior umpires, and has buddied and badged many junior umpires this season.

Saturday 22nd May
Karina Connolly didn't think she did a good job on her Cadet 1 game on Day 7 - the panel disagreed! Karina has been a St Ives umpire for many years, as well as coaching, playing and buddying for the club. After working on her vision and positioning and attending carnivals and training sessions, Karina was awarded her National C badge! Congratulations on your hard work Karina and well done!
Saturday 1st May
Shauna Winchester was awarded her National C badge on Day 4! Many of you will know Shauna as your buddy or familiar face at the courts every Saturday - her commitment to buddying really shows through in her thourough knowledge of the rules and consistent umpiring style. Shauna is a beautiful umpire who has worked really hard towards this badge after an injury.

Saturday 24th April
A HUGE congratulations must go to Flora Grant who was awarded her National B Badge on Saturday 24th of April! Flora has work extremely hard to achieve this level Badge and the Club is so proud of her! Flora is a wonderful umpire and devotes so much time and effort into not only her own umpiring, but also the umpiring of others in the club and other clubs through her role as St Ives Umpires' Convenor. This is definitely a well earnt Badge and she is most deserving!! Congratulations again and thank you Flora!!!!
Saturday 27th March
A special congratulations must go to two of our umpires who were awarded National bagdes on Day 2 (27th March).
Ash Vissel recieved a well deserved National C badge yesterday. Ash is a fantastic umpire and has put in a lot of effort, so a big congratulations must go to her!!
Steven Philpot recived his National B badge which is a fantastic achievement. Like Ash, Steven has put in a great amount of effort to his umpiring so Congratulations to him!!
Well done to both Steven and Ash and to all the other umpires for their fantastic start to the season!

STATE LEAGUE SEMI FINALS [KNA] |

Update: SL2 & SL4 played their Semi Final games this week and the outcomes were: SL2 now play next Tuesday 7/9 in the Finals at 7pm, Court A, against Sutherland & SL4 won their semis and have gone straight through to the Grand Final which will be played on Saturday 11/9 at 3pm.
Come along and support our SL2 Team at Anne Clarke on Tuesday - it's going to be a very exciting game and your support is very welcomed - the more the merrier.
